- Description
This role reports to the Sales Manager, with a dotted line to the Production Planning Manager, and is responsible for providing front line support to all the client customers by managing the sales administration and department processes.
Main Duties:
- Dealing with and processing of sales orders, enquiries, queries and quotes in a timely manner. Regular sales order check process.
- Managing department processes and ensuring they are kept up to date.
- Progressing sales orders and liaising with customers regarding product specifications, order detail, delivery, and special arrangements. Effective communication of product specifications to all relevant in-house parties.
- Maintenance of customer orders and customer data files on SAP and Google-Docs, and the logging of any communications with customers.
- Regular liaison with customers to ensure accuracy and completeness of all orders prior to commencement of tender build. Developing customer relationships
- Maintenance of hardcopy customer orders. Customer logos.
- Production of regular reports to support the sales function of the business.
- Working with the Sales Manager to provide sales administration support to our dealer and OEM network and attend regular sales meeting.
- Answering telephone calls and general office duties.
- Assistance with trade show as directed by management.
- Preparation and distribution of sales and marketing material as directed.
- Assisting management with administrative support and management reporting.
- Providing secretarial support as and when required by management.
- Undertake basic accounting tasks as directed and price lists review.
Education/Skills/Knowledge
- Customer Service knowledge essential
- GCSE Maths & English or equivalent
- SAP/ERP/CRM knowledge is preferable.
- Computer literate in all Microsoft products essential
- Previous experience of working as a customer service/administrator in either a sales, manufacturing or production environment would be preferred, however due to the attention to detail required in this role, previous experience of working in a finance role would also be considered.
