Field Based Vehicle Technician

My client is seeking a full-time motivated and flexible person for the above position. 
Duties

• Installation of electronic monitoring and safety systems onto commercial vehicles including 
• Fleet management and vehicle tracking systems.
• CCTV recording systems.
• Ultrasonic proximity detection systems
• Warning systems i.e., beacon bars, strobes, and lamps
• Mobile on-site work generally on new vehicles for all major vehicle manufacturers
• Blue chip customers, including DHL, Muller, Scania, DAF
• On site working alongside our engineers

 
Skills Required

• The ideal candidate will be working with an engineer during large fleet installations.
• This will involve nights away and a flexible approach to the working day. Expenses paid.
• You will need to work one Saturday or Sunday every seven weeks. An additional remuneration will be paid.
• Full driving license essential
• IT skills
• Be well organized and adopt safe working practices
•  

Hours

• Pension and private health care
• 45hr working week with overtime payment.
• 3-month review point then annual reviews
• Monday to Friday 0830 to 1730
