Description

As a result of continuous business growth, my client is looking to expand our team and recruit an experienced Office & Transport Team Administrator to assist the Office and Transport Manager.

  • Updating and recording holiday requisitions and entering Weekly Agency Timesheets.
  • Raising Purchase Orders for various departments and monitoring Stock Room levels.
  • Handle telephone and e-mail queries.
  • Updating weekly transport and despatch schedules in Excel.
  • Liaison with existing customers to manage transport bookings & requirements.
  • Liaison with own transport fleet and 3rd party providers.
  • Managing and tracking all fleet, 3rd party & fuel costs.
  • Participate in transport spend tracking and internal reporting.
  • The office team supports two office-based staff and a number of operational leads Yard Managers & Plant Supervisors.
  • The transport support to a Transport Manager and some liaison with up to 5 Drivers.

Essential Skills

  • 2-year minimum experience in an office and basic account(PL & SL)
  • Experience within an accounts office an advantage
  • Intermediate Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong communication both orally and in writing, while possessing an excellent telephone manner.
  • Must have the ability to multitask, working on your own initiative with minimal supervision and having a conscientious and thorough approach to work.
  • Ability to successfully prioritise, manage time and resources, displaying effective organisational skills.
  • Have a flexible approach to work and display a willingness to undertake varied responsibilities, working alone or as part of a team.
  • Punctual, polite, professional, and courteous towards customers

Hours and Benefits

Full-time - 42.5 hrs per week 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday (0.5 hour for lunch) Office Based only
